Practise!
"Yoga is 99% practice and 1% theory."

I love reading. I am perfectly happy to spend all day, every day, reading. At one point in my life I was reading a lot of yoga books and gaining a lot of knowledge and insights about the benefits of yoga.
One day I had the thought – what if I had actually been doing yoga daily ever since the day I had my first yoga class? How would my body and my health be now? How would my emotional landscape have been different? I decided then and there to just DO THE YOGA. I have tried ever since that day to do some yoga most days of the week, even if it can only be a few poses or a few breathing exercises. There is no substitute for just doing your practice. While reading about it is also very beneficial, don’t let it end there. You will gain none of the benefits of yoga by merely reading about them. However, in only five minutes of yoga you will gain more than five minutes of lounging in your chair. "It is far better to know one [yogic technique] and practise it, than know thousands and practise none of them."
- Swami Satyananda Saraswati
