Cumin Tea for Digestion
A gently stimulating herbal tea to encourage good digestion and metabolism. Do not drink this tea if you have a stomach upset - it is good for mild indigestion or constipation.
Ingredients
2 tbsp cumin seeds 2 glasses of water 3 whole dried red chillis a handful of fresh mint leaves Salt and/or sugar to taste 1 tbsp lemon juice |
Method
Dry roast (toast) the cumin and chillis in a frying pan with no oil. Place in a pan with the cold water and bring to the boil. Add the mint, salt and sugar (if using). Cover and cook for 8-10 min. Before serving add the lemon and serve hot. |
